The clearest evidence about Fresh & Fit is what it broadcasts. In a March 2024 analysis, the media-watchdog group Media Matters for America documented the show promoting sexual assault and downplaying rape, citing a post from the Fresh & Fit account framing a woman's refusal to have sex as grounds to remove her — "Leave or sex" — and quoting Gaines telling his audience that "rape culture is a myth" and that women "lie about" assault "to get sympathy" because "they regret sex". ^[4] These are his and the show's own words, not accusations made against him; they are recorded here because a former federal agent's public position that sexual assault is exaggerated is precisely the record his authority framing is meant to lend weight to.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported that at an Ohio University event on 26 March 2026, Gaines performed a Nazi salute as he greeted students, opened by declaring "women are stupid, Jews control America and Blacks are criminals", put the number of Holocaust victims at "271,000 at best" and claimed Israel had lied about the death toll. ^[5] The Southern Poverty Law Center, cited in the same report, describes him as having embraced antisemitic conspiracy theories since the summer of 2023. ^[5] The report records no response from Gaines, and this site located none.
